How to host a meeting

2025-05-28

Greeting

Hi, everyone. Ray, will Mike join the meeting?

(I’m afraid not. He’s off today)

All right. Could you take the note for me?

(Sure)

Introduction

Yesterday, we received feedback from our client.

Let me describe the issue first. As you can see, after the user clicks the deposit button, a popup to the 3rd-party vendor is shown. Then the user cancels this transaction by closing this popup and goes back to our side. The user is expected to see something like “Transaction Canceled” on our site. However, it is actually pending all the time.

We were not able to reproduce this issue in our stage environment, and that’s why we’re talking about it here.

OK. Now I want to hear your opinions. Feel free to ask if there’s anything unclear to you.

BrainStorm

(Did this issue affect all vendors, or only one vendor?)

Discuss

Obviously, we need more information about it. We don’t even know how many vendors are affected. Additionally, are there any other resources we should ask our client for?

(We can ask them for the accurate time when they noticed the problem.)

Conclusion

I’ll talk with our client and ask them for these information.

Future Work

We’re going to have another meeting to discuss how to resolve this problem and provide our client with the estimated time on next Monday.
